Two of the Marines killed this week in Iraq were alumni of St. Xavier High School.

Three graduates of the class of 2004 plus a graduate from the class of 2003 have set an new world record for long-distance wireless networking. They shot a WiFi signal 125 miles. This same team set the previous world record of 55.1 miles last year at the same competition.

I just discovered this community a few days ago and was a little bit surprised that it's the only St. X community I've found and that there was only one member in it before me.

I'd be interested in helping to promote this community since I'd like to have a way of keeping in touch with / meeting other St. X students and alumni. I'll tell my St. X friends who are on LiveJournal. We'll se where it goes from there...
